Based on the Dorrigo Plateau in NSW Australia, Nicola at Mollydale Yarns has been hand dyeing a range of natural fibres since 1990. The current Mollydale Yarns range is a combination of Australian and New Zealand wool, milled in New Zealand. Nicola and her daughter Evie dye yarn in small batches which allows for both one of a kind colour combinations and a repeatable set colour palette. The yarns are available in solid colours from bright to neutral tones as well as variegated colours (some of which are repeatable).

 

The nature of hand dyeing sometimes limits the available quantity of a particular colourway;  a typical dye-lot fixes 2 kg of yarn, so please take this into consideration when ordering.
